About Second Rodeo
At Second Rodeo, we specialize in coaching people through major transitions.
We are convinced that people can have a better experience with their work. That’s why we’ve developed tools to guide people to recognize their natural abilities, rediscover their dreams, and renegotiate their futures. From the free resources available on our website, to online classes, mastermind groups, personal retreats and custom coaching, we’re here to get people off the sidelines and back in the game–this time, on their own terms.
Ed Rowell is the founder of Second Rodeo. Ed grew increasingly frustrated seeing how many high-capacity people were leading “lives of quiet desperation” (to quote Thoreau). Ed’s personal mission is to equip as many people as possible to discover and pursue a satisfying next chapter. And while he’s at it, he works with organizations to create cultures where people are energized and motivated to engage fully with their work.
Ed has degrees in communications and theology, advanced credentials as an Executive Coach, and certifications in all kinds of tools and assessments. But his superpower? He’s been guiding people through the major transitions of life for thirty-plus years. Examples include:
Equipping military officers searching for a worthy encore to a twenty or thirty-year career.
Guiding business owners to equip their successors, then reinvent themselves.
Collaborating with scores of successful executives who refused to follow the script and go quietly into the night.
Now, through Second Rodeo, Ed is all about making the tools and processes of Investigative Life Planning available to as many people as possible.
Ed lives in Colorado with his wife, Susan, and their red heeler, Rosie, the official ranch dog of Second Rodeo. He looks forward to connecting with you to create an exciting next chapter for your life.
